Aboriginal Governance and Self-Government

Where appropriate, the Ministry participates in federally-led governance negotiations with First Nations that deal with subject matters within provincial jurisdiction.

The federal government is primarily responsible for Aboriginal peoples and takes the lead on Aboriginal governance matters.
